Parvatipur Upazila is one of the most developed upazilas of Dinajpur district. Parvatipur Upazila has the biggest challenge junction of Bangladesh. When I made the video, 200 meters away from Parvatipur station, Udal drama was being shot. I saw La Madhabi Chinese drama shooting. But now I have come in front of Barapukuria thermal power plant. The thermal power plant looks very beautiful from outside. The thermal power plant was built in 2006.
The production capacity is 525 MW. The electricity generated from this thermal power plant is being delivered to around 16 districts around Dinajpur. It is located 15 km from Parvatipur bus terminal. Coal Mine Barapukuria Coal Mine Bangladesh's only operational coal mine was discovered in 985. As you can see above the houses, the coal is being lifted up from the ground.
