In 1763, Manzoor Khan, the governor of Sultan, came to Lalmonihat district to spread Islam. This mosque was built for worship in the area. This mosque is built on three domes and four pillars. At present, this mosque has been taken under the jurisdiction of Bangladesh Museum and Archeology Department under Section XIV of Antiquities Preservation Act, 1968. Friends, the grave you can see next to the mosque is that of Sultan Governor Mansoor Khan.
